Care Info

General Care Info:

Though sealed, the stone remains porous and can be stained, scratched, or chipped. Clean regularly with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed, and dust or vacuum to remove debris from the pits. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and acidic substances like wine or citrus. Wipe spills immediately and reseal annually with a product like Actichem™ Stone Sealer Gold. To prevent damage, avoid placing sharp or heavy objects on the surface. These items are not recommended for food use due to the sealer applied.

Travertine features natural pitting that adds character, with larger pits filled and smaller ones left unfilled.
